Peterson Quality Malt


Peterson Quality Malt is Vermonts Premier Malthouse. We specialize in producing quality
malted grains for use in beer brewing and alcohol distillation. We have recently completed
construction of our new facility in Charlotte, VT and are looking to bring onboard new staf to
meet our growing need.

Location: Charlotte, VT
Hourly Rate: $17.00 (includes shift diferential)
Night Shift: 8:00pm to 5:00am
Schedules: Three week rotating schedule. Please note: Slow periods will see only a two
week rotation from week 1 to week 3
• Week 1 – Sunday – Thursday
• Week 2 - Monday – Friday
• Week 3 – modifed M-TH (noon – 8PM shifts)
Job Summary/Essential Responsibilities:
• Work independently on site to monitor equipment both visually and through our
automated Vesta system
• Set up and operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to create and maintain a clean working environment
• Work in a team environment to meet production goals
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental,
Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifcations:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shift (excluding breaks)
• Must be comfortable working independently in an after hours environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift
• Must have basic computer and email skills
• Must be able to work night shift
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
Preferred Qualifcations:
• Demonstrated ability to receive and follow instructions
• Ability to fnd information in a spreadsheet or on a website
• Strong attention to detail
